Signup for an account for the IT services for students of the Institut für Informatik - SS 2019

Who is eligible for an account?

• all students who are attending lectures of the Institut für Informatik regardles of their university
• students of the institute/department
  • Department of mathematics, computer sciences and statistics
  • Centrum für Informations- und Sprachverarbeitung (CIS)

Notes:

• Accounts can be applied for during O-Phase or similar start-of-term events of the institute
• Masterstudents who might need their account before the start of the lecture period can apply for their account during the RBG consultation hours.

Account:

Every student without a CIP-Pool account needs to apply for such an account to use the CIP-Pool computers. You need your current student ID and your current official ID (that means your passport, drivers license etc. It needs to contain a fotograph. You do not need to supply us with a fotograph).

Account application takes place in room LU114/Sibirien, Oettingenstr.67 from Wednesday 24th of April until Thursday 25th of April, between 19 and 20 oclock. You get issued your account on the spot. The account is usable from the next day onward. You can attend any of the events. To reduce crowding please respect the partitioning accoording to the first letter of your surname as follows:

• Wednesday: A - M (24th of April)
• Thursday: N - Z

You apply for your account at the designated computers. Please fill out the form and then wait to be called up by name. Please have your documentation at hand.

Stragglers:

After the 25th of April you can apply for your account in room L U113 (Mo-Fr 14-17 Uhr). You need to bring your documentation.
