Changes to the Abaki Partition

We decided to introduce Job Runtime Limits to the Abaki Partition because this semester (SoSe 25) a course needs two Reservations on this Partition and the Reservations do not allow jobs with unlimited Runtime. Therefore both a Default Runtime and a Max Runtime are introduced.

  • Default Runtime = 1 Day
  • Max Runtime = 5 Days

The Reservations are on So. and Mo. from 8:00 till 22:00

This means that users who are not part of the reservations can not run jobs on the reserved nodes that would intersect the reservation. SLUM will not start jobs with Runtimes that can not be completed before the next reservation begins.
