General available compute resources at IfI
- All computer have Ubuntu 20.04 LTS as OS and provide the user homedirs via
NFS.
- Read our regulation infos.
- Read our infos about SLURM our batch system.
- All computer - with the exception of the Abaki group - are normal computer in our CIP rooms.
- All computer reboot at least once per week - normally at the weekend.
- If an other user login at the computer console compute jobs will/have to be suspended (SLURM automaticly/manuelly).
- Normally no application is needed. Exceptions are listed on our regulation page.
