General available compute resources at IfI

All computer have Ubuntu 20.04 LTS as OS and provide the user homedirs via NFS.
Read our regulation infos.
Read our infos about SLURM our batch system.
All computer - with the exception of the Abaki group - are normal computer in our CIP rooms.
All computer reboot at least once per week - normally at the weekend.
If an other user login at the computer console compute jobs will/have to be suspended (SLURM automaticly/manuelly).
Normally no application is needed. Exceptions are listed on our regulation page.
